Terms & Conditions

 Srividhyakshethralaya School of Music - Terms and Conditions
1. Registration and Payment
•    Registration Confirmation: Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment. You will receive a confirmation email with details of your registration.
•    Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer, digital wallets and UPI. All payments must be completed in the currency specified during registration.
•    Pricing: All prices are listed in Rupee (INR) and are subject to change without notice. Any applicable taxes or fees will be included in the final payment amount.
 
2. Cancellations and Refunds
•    Student Cancellations:
o    Full Refund: Cancellations made 7 days or more before the course start date will receive a full refund.
o    Partial Refund: Cancellations made 3 days before the course will receive a 50% refund.
o    No Refund: Cancellations made less than 2 days before the course are not eligible for a refund.
o    Refund after commencement of the course: A refund is eligible for cancellations made after completing half or fewer classes in a cycle.
•    School Cancellations: In the event that a course is canceled by Srividhyakshethralaya School of Music, students will receive a full refund or may opt to transfer their registration to another course or future date.

3. Repetitive Uninformed No-Show Policy
•    Notification: Students and parents are required to inform us at least 1-2 hours in advance if they are unable to attend a scheduled class.
•    Exemptions: Valid reasons for absence, such as medical emergencies or other unforeseen circumstances, will be considered, and no fee will be charged in such cases.
•    Charges: The fee amount applicable for one class will be applied for each instance of a no-show without prior notification or valid reason after the first warning.
•    Purpose: This policy is designed to encourage responsibility and respect for the time and effort invested in organizing these classes, ensuring that the learning process remains uninterrupted and efficient for all involved.

 

4. Student Conduct
•    Code of Conduct: Students are expected to behave respectfully towards trainers and fellow students. Any disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in dismissal from the course without a refund.
•    Recording Policy: Students are not permitted to record any part of the course without the prior consent of Srividhyakshethralaya School of Music and the trainer.
•    Privacy and Data Protection: Srividhyakshethralaya School of Music is committed to protecting students' privacy. Personal information will not be shared with third parties without consent, except as required by law.
 
5. Liability and Disclaimer
•    Technical Issues: Srividhyakshethralaya School of Music is not responsible for technical difficulties experienced by students during online classes, including internet connectivity issues, software problems, or hardware failures.
•    Disclaimer: The courses offered by Srividhyakshethralaya School of Music are for educational purposes only. The school does not guarantee specific outcomes or results from participation in any course.

 

6. Course Content and Schedule
•    Content Availability: The curriculum, course content, and schedule are subject to change at the discretion of Srividhyakshethralaya School of Music. Any significant changes will be communicated to students in advance.
•    Access to Materials: Students will have access to all course materials, including handouts, recordings, and additional resources, as specified in the course details. These materials are for personal use only.
•    Intellectual Property: All course materials, including but not limited to recordings, handouts, and lesson plans, are the intellectual property of Srividhyakshethralaya School of Music and may not be distributed, reproduced, or used for commercial purposes without prior written consent

 

7. Force Majeure
•    Unforeseen Circumstances: Srividhyakshethralaya School of Music is not responsible for any delay, interruption, or cancellation of courses due to circumstances beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government restrictions, or other emergencies.

 

8. Governing Law
•    Jurisdiction: These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of India/Tamil Nadu. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India/Tamil Nadu.

 

9. Amendments
•    Changes to Terms: Srividhyakshethralaya School of Music reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Any changes will be communicated to registered students and will take effect immediately upon posting.
