Miss Rajeshwari embarked on her musical journey at the age of 8, initially delving into vocal training before her passion led her to explore the intricacies of the Veena.

Combining both vocal and instrumental proficiency, she dedicated herself to mastering these disciplines. This dedication propelled her to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Music specializing in Veena allied Vocal from Madras University, solidifying her commitment to music as a profession.​

​In her formative years, Miss Rajeshwari's talent shone brightly as she clinched the title of "Best Veena Player" in a district-level competition an impressive four times. Since then, she has graced 

numerous stages, performing in over 600 concerts and shows. Noteworthy among her performances was an event where she showcased her Veena skills in the esteemed presence of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

Her musical prowess has earned her acclaim and recognition, including the prestigious Naadha Ganga award conferred by Sangeetha Kala Peetam, Tirupur. Notably, she stands nominated for the esteemed Kalaimani award by the Tamil Nadu government, a testament to her exceptional talent and contribution to the musical realm.

 

Continuing her musical journey, Miss Rajeshwari currently hones her skills under the tutelage of Dr. B. Sivakumar, a disciple of the renowned Gottuvadhyam maestro N. Ravikiran, at Trichy All India Radio. Her passion for music extends beyond her own performances as she finds joy in teaching, with one of her students having established a music school under her guidance.
